Each year FRONZ holds it
Annual
Conference and AGM over 4 days of Queens Birthday
Weekend (first
weekend in
June). Venues usually alternate between the North and
South Islands.
The Conference is a great forum for:
- Presentations and discussion groups on topics of
interest
and
concern to members.
- Hearing from the Government agencies that control
our
industry;
eg
NZ Transport Agency, KiwiRail etc
- Informal chats with others who have been through
the same
problems that you are having. (Some delegates claim
that the evening
"bar sessions" are the most informative part of a
conference.)
- Visits to local members sites to see how they do
things.
The 2012 Conference
will be held
in Rotorua, 1-4 June 2012. Bookings are now
